The Preparation of Nocté

Nocté comes in handy sachets, already weighed out so there is no need to mess about with measuring the powder.

Preparing the drink.

1. Simply add 200ml of water to Nocté and shake, blend or whisk for a few seconds.
2. Heat in a microwave for a minute if you prefer a warm drink.
Note: Do not use boiling water as this will damage some of the nutrients present
3. Although many people find a warm drink quite comforting at night research suggests that a cold drink is more conducive to a good nights sleep. Nocté is a great tasting drink cold too, and easy to mix in a shaker bottle.

Nocté and milk
For best results Nocté should not be made up with milk. The very high calcium content in the milk will interfere with magnesium absorption. Similarly, the other amino acids (protein building blocks) found in milk will reduce tryptophan availability.
Milk will reduce the effectiveness of Nocté.

For Drink Connoisseurs
It is possible to customise Nocté to your own tastes. It is however important that the careful balance of ingredients is not disturbed. Here are a few of our suggestions.

Sprinkle vanilla Nocté with nutmeg or cinnamon
Add decaffeinated coffee to either chocolate or vanilla Nocté
Blend with a few ice cubes for a frappe style drink.
For a higher energy drink add sugar or neutral maltodextrin based energy drink (PSP22)

Nocté is suitable for vegetarians but not vegans.
